MCLE Grants for Leadership development continue on an expanded basis for 2008-2009.
MCLE will continue the practice of offering grants to regional leadership projects to enhance current programs, or to help with the development of new programs. Grants are for up to $1000 .00. For more information or to discuss accessing the grant, call Barry at the MCLE office – 945-1545.
MCLE is offering Leadership Support Funds for major leadership projects. The purpose of the fund is to support divisions, regions, or schools with new initiatives that will positively impact on present and future educational leaders. Project support through the Leadership Support Fund is not limited to one year.

The Manitoba Council for Leadership in Education is a non-profit partnership created in 1991 by educational organizations interested in helping develop educational leaders in Manitoba. Current partners include, Brandon University, Collège universitaire de Saint-Boniface, Council of School Leaders, Manitoba Association of School Superintendents, Manitoba Association of School Trustees, Manitoba Education Citizenship and Youth, University College of the North, University of Manitoba and the University of Winnipeg. Council is made up of representatives of each organization, meetings are held 4 times per year. For more information on MCLE by-laws click here. |

Council of School LeadersMB Assoc. of School Trustees MB Assoc. of School Superintendents Brandon University Collège universitaire de Saint-Boniface University College of the NorthUniversity of Manitoba University of Winnipeg Manitoba Education Citizenship and Youth Subscriptions Annual subscriptions to MCLE are open to all Manitoba school divisions/districts, independent schools, First Nations education authorities, and to individuals and organisations with an interest in educational leadership.
MCLE subscribers receive: Reduced registration rates for MCLE workshops and conferences and four issues of Educators' Notebook, a review of education research on current themes and issues in education.
