The Manitoba Council for Leadership in Education (MCLE) supports educational leadership development and research in Manitoba. MCLE is a collaborative, non-profit corporation governed by representatives from Brandon University, Collège universitaire de Saint-Boniface, Council of School Leaders, Manitoba Association of School Superintendents, Manitoba Education, Manitoba School Boards Association, University College of the North, University of Manitoba and University of Winnipeg.

MCLE fills gaps in leadership development that might occur when those organizations work separately. MCLE helps meet Manitoba’s educational leadership needs by providing or funding professional learning activities, publishing relevant documents, and supporting informative research.

Use this website to learn more about MCLE, its partner organizations, its activities and to discover what else is happening in educational leadership development in Manitoba. If you ever want more information, contact John VanWalleghem, the executive director.
